Hello! I’d like to introduce myself as the newest member of Riverside Medical. My name is Cindy Butler. I am a Registered Nurse with thirty-two years of experience. I received my Associated Degree in Nursing Science from Lincoln University in 1991 and continued my education receiving my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Central Methodist University.
My nursing background includes pre-hospital, surgical orthopedics, emergency, cardiac cath lab, ICU, and nursing management. I also continue to serve on the Ozark Central Ambulance and volunteer with Belle Rural Fire Protection District. I have always been an adrenaline junky and have never completely been able to give up my EMS ambition.
I have been married to Frank Butler for 23 years and am the mother of 4 children. I’ve also been blessed with 7 grandchildren thus far. I enjoy spending time with family & friends, being outdoors hunting and fishing, volunteer work, and photography. My husband is a cattle farmer which brings additional adventures to my daily living.
Those that know me best describe me as honest, dedicated, hardworking, and compassionate. Through self-reflection, I discovered that what fuels me is helping others. My drive to support others led to the development of the nonprofit group, The Ya Yas of Belle, whose mission is to aid those fighting chronic diseases (primarily cancer) with fuel credit for treatments.
I am very excited and feel blessed for the opportunity to return to clinical nursing with Riverside Medical. This opportunity will allow me to use my knowledge, skill set and my own personal health journey to help others feel their very best and live life to its full potential and fuel myself at the same time.
